ABOUT
Alyssa Laine is a female rock artist from Frankfort, Kentucky. Many consider the singer-songwriter to be an old soul, as her voice is reminiscent of Stevie Nicks, Ann Wilson, and Joan Jett. Infused with the warmth of classic rock, the self-taught musician has a unique style all her own.
Her debut, self-titled album, Alyssa Laine, was released in February of 2017. She premiered the album’s lead single “Til’ Death Do Us Part” during a live interview on Frankfort, Kentucky’s Star 103.7 FM, and followed the release with 6 months of shows in Kentucky and Tennessee to promote the album.
In 2018, after working the night shift at a retirement community for 9 years, Alyssa packed up and moved to Tennessee to pursue music full-time. As a member of Full Band & Acoustic Duo, Liquid Velvet, Alyssa performed in East Tennessee until 2020, when she left the group.
Alyssa Laine & Chris Fallis, two Kentucky native musicians, founded Barebones in 2021. Frankfort's favorite Chris Fallis is no stranger to the town’s live music scene. Friends since childhood, the duo has finally decided to put their talents together. Pulling inspiration from artists like Bob Dylan all the way to Phoebe Bridgers, the pair will be performing with a fun mix of cover songs and originals.
